25 Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven. 26 His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven. 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken —that is, created things—so that what is not shaken might remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.

I cannot help but think about how I am no better than the person who has never heard of Christ or some of my children who are still looking and turn to mystical practices for their answers. Even to the point to justify atheism in one case. Why do I say that? Because only through the blood of Christ and then by the Grace of God am I saved, and here I must remind myself that I must step back from my children and give them to God until a time that I have the words from God to give them to place in their heart with love and compassion that Jesus gave me through His words and actions. With that said I think you should know that I got soaked yesterday in the rain handing out flyers for my church’s neighborhood cookout. Nothing to do with todays topic! Just a little fun side note.
